Maple Roasted Carrots & Brussels with Turmeric Candied Bacon


  • 16 oz. bag baby carrots
  • 1 lb. brussels sprouts (trimmed and halved)
  • 1/4 cup chopped scallion
  • 1 TBSP + 1/4 tsp Golden Turmeric Moon Milk
  • 1/2 tsp thyme
  • 1/2 tsp parsley
  • 1/2 tsp salt and pepper
  • Olive oil to drizzle
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 2 tsp maple syrup
  • 12-16 oz bacon diced
  • 2 TBSP brown sugar 


  1.  Preheat oven to 425 Deg. 
  2. Mix carrots and brussels with scallion, 1 TBSP golden turmeric moon milk blend, thyme, parsley, salt and pepper, and olive oil. Coat evenly and spread onto a sheet pan. Roast for 15-20 mins. Toss 2-3 times during this time. 
  3. Remove from the oven and coat with 2 TBSP honey and 2 TBSP maple syrup. Roast another 5 minutes until vegetables are cooked through and are starting to become golden. 
  4. Bake @350 for 30mins. Done when toothpick in center comes out clean. Cool completely on wire racks. While veggies are roasting, prepare your bacon (optional). Pan fry on medium heat until half cooked and starting to crisp up. Drain excess grease at this point. Add 1/4 tsp of golden turmeric moon milk, 2 TBSP brown sugar, and a pinch of sale and pepper to the bacon. Coat the bacon with spice mix and stir until bacon is crispy. 
  5. Crumble bacon over top of veggies in your favorite serving dish and ENJOY!
